a project for this summer perhaps…

This was the rainiest April I think I’ve ever seen. Without checking any official stats or data I think I can safely say it was the rainiest April northern Europe has ever seen. I certainly didn’t make it to work each day looking even half as lovely as this lady, but I have come to appreciate the value of a sturdy, brightly colored umbrella and even brighter fingernail polish. more importantly though is the wearing of darker (but maybe not opaque anymore) tights, because holy-crap-your-legs-have-not-seen-sunlight-since-last-october-and-they-are-blindingly-pale!

before she was famous
I wonder if she knew. In that casual setting, if she had any idea that in just a few months she would be Adele. the first female artist to have three singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. the first female artist to have two albums in the top five of the Billboard 200 and two singles in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. and that she would have the longest running number one album by a female in Billboard history.
a good reminder to be in the moment but remember circumstances can change very quickly.
